Anyone want to try making a graft?
#3558 by briantech (1.0000) posted on 9:35am Thursday, May 11th, 2006
So it'd be swell if we had like 9 or 10 grafts instead of the current two... i'm gonna try making a couple today but they will mainly just be different colored versions of this one.

So if anyone wanted to try their hand at it, its real easy. 99% of what you see is controlled by the css file, so thats all you'd need to edit.
[Q]

Easiest thing to do I think is just save one of these pages as an HTML page, edit it to use your local copy of the css file and then edit away on your own machine.

Please do not add or remove any of the CSS classes or id's... they all need to be there and obviously any you use in addition aren't going to get displayed.
[Q]

Any questions as to what id's or classes control what let me know. If anyone actually makes one, just send the CSS file to admin@blursoft.com and we'll include it in the release!

We need to work up some docs again. Most of the names in the CSS file make sense, but some could use a little /* comment action */ embedded.

Yeah. Plus quite a few of the definitions aren't even used anymore.

I'd really like to do one. Hopefully time will permit. I got two websites I gotta design and a bunch of other things going on... I never have enough time.

I tried coming up with something quick... you can see what I did here http://www.zektek.com/pma/planetblur.htm ... it kinda sucks but I'll make some improvements when I get some more time.. (I tried going for a wood tpye feel... I have no idea why) oh and work on the CSS file i had to compare it against the html to figure it out... comment action is needed badly. Oh and you can shave about 1k off the CSS file if you optomize it (I know not such a big deal, but every little bit helps). The CSS file I'm using is optomized if you want to compare it.

i might try putting together something completely illegible like red text on black so people can match it to their retarded myspace pages.

So I was looking at the graft on a different computer and noticed it doesn't work well in different resolutions... so it isn't close to being complete. Also is there any chance you could set it up so threads are alternate colors... basically allowing someone to specify two thread colors.
